I was born in São Paulo in 1932 and started my studies in 1965, at the Associação Paulista de Belas-Artes (Association of Fine Arts of São Paulo). From 1973 to 1976 I enlarged my artistical vocation by attending an academical extension course at the FAAP and during which period I had the priviledge of sharing the studios of renowned artists. Below I present the most important aspects of my career.
I divide my work into two basical phases:
Sculptureand Painting.

Through SCULPTURE I best express my yearnings and emotions held back for more than 20 years. All features thereof can by seen in individual and collective exhibitions in Brazil and in exhibitions abroad. I have already been honoured with some awards and mentioned in bibliographies and articles. Documenting this whole process, I set up a most beautiful Audio-Visual with slides and tapes describing the full foundry process of a skulpture, beginning at its initial point - its creation.

PAINTING  was the beginning of my artistic life, from 1967 to 1977, still under the academic influence. During that period, I participated in numberless exhibitions, received awards, had works shown in exhibitions abroad and also was a member of the Selecting and Rewarding Commission, whose main events were:
